Characteristics: Inner diameter <10mm (MTWB’s smallest 0.6mm); ABEC 7-9 tolerances; ultra-low runout.
Advantages: Lifetime 3-5x longer than standard miniature bearings in medical application for example handpieces (turbines) due to optimized raceway waviness. Achievable 500,000 rpm vs. the standard of 300,000 rpm.
Technical Ceiling: Running accuracy <0.5 µm bore deviation; max speed 1.2 million DN (bore mm × rpm); noise level <20 dB.
Caution: Requires contamination-free assembly. Standard shaft fit (h5) is too loose – use tighter js4 fit. Lubricant quantity must be <1% of free space or torque spikes occur.
