High Temp. +350°C Bearings
Characteristics: M50 tool steel or Inconel 718; no standard grease - dry solid lubricants (MoS2, WS2); carbon or Si3N4 balls.
Advantages: Operates 200°C above standard high-temp bearings (which top at 150°C with special grease). Lifetime >1000 hours at 350°C in industrial ovens or jet engine accessories.
Technical Ceiling: Hardness >58 HRC after 350°C exposure; dimensional stability 0.1% max growth; limiting speed 1/3 of ambient due to solid lubricant shear.
Caution: Absolute no oil/grease. Replacing a standard 150°C bearing directly will cause cold-welding of balls to raceways during heat soak. Must allow 0.1–0.15 mm additional radial clearance at room temperature.
High Temperature Bearings (Up to 350°C) are specially designed to maintain dimensional stability, load capacity, and reliable operation in extreme thermal environments where conventional bearings fail due to softening, lubricant degradation, or rapid wear. These bearings are essential for applications in industrial ovens, kilns, conveyors, furnaces, and high-temperature processing equipment.
